History of JPods Middle East
When the history of solving Climate Change and traffic jams is written, my guess is:
- US Patent 6,810,817 will mark the invention of both:
- The Physical Internet®, the use of distributed collaborative computer networks to move people and cargo using packet-switched digital networks. Here is a Red Bull TV documentary on what will likely be the three network layers of the Physical Internet of:
- Hyperloops, the high-speed connection between cities (fiber optics).
- JPods, urban local area networks (WiFi).
- Self-driving cars, rideshare, scooters, drones, the last-mile and off-network devices (BlueTooth).
- Solar-powered mobility networks:
- Summary of the Physics of JPods and metrics for the Physical Internet®.
- 5-years of data on how solar-collectors designed for over JPods networks and illustrated in the patent gather 40,000 vehicle-miles of power per mile of guideway per day.
- JPods contract to build a solar-powered mobility network in China.
- The Physical Internet®, the use of distributed collaborative computer networks to move people and cargo using packet-switched digital networks. Here is a Red Bull TV documentary on what will likely be the three network layers of the Physical Internet of:
- The Solar Mobility Act, pending as Massachusetts Senate Bill S.1993 (attached), will mark the shift in regulations that solved Climate Change:
- 5X5 Standard shifts from government roll from approving to rejecting innovations based on:
- Privately funded solar-powered networks 5 times more efficient than roads.
- Pay 5% of gross revenues for non-exclusive use of Rights of Way.
- Marks the end of a century where unconstitutional government transportation monopolies built paths to war by mandating the 25 mpg efficiency of the Model-T:
- The Boston Tea Party was a demonstration against a government transportation monopoly that triggered a war. To prevent rebuilding that path to war, government transportation monopolies are forbidden by 34 State Constitutions and by the “post Roads” restriction in the US Constitution. Link to 21 Presidential veto messages enforcing the “post Roads” restriction. Link to 8 Presidents identifying foreign oil addiction as building paths to war.
- Violating Constitution government transportation monopolies built paths to war of perpetual oil-wars, oil-dollar funded terrorism, Climate Change, and Oil Famine (currently in Syria and Venezuela, nearly in the US and Canada in 2008, likely by 2023).
- The Congressional Office of Technology Assessment study PB-244854, published in 1974 to identify solutions to the harms of the 1973 Oil Embargo documents the “four to six decades” without transportation innovation on Page 41.
- 5X5 Standard shifts from government roll from approving to rejecting innovations based on:
- JPods’ efforts in San Jose will underscore government barriers to solar-powered mobility:
In the published Q&A of the City of San Jose’s current RFI, I asked the City if they would use the metrics of CO2 and costs per passenger-mile in evaluating the proposals. The official response is “We do not have a metric for sustainability.” What gets measured gets done.
If you are interested in covering metrics for sustainable infrastructure at some point, please let me know.
I will think about attending your conference. But your current speakers have contributed to the problem for the past 15 years of my efforts and 47 years since Morgantown’s PRT opened (Walter Cronkite covering the opening).
